HMS Victory - Progress after 10 issues

So far, I have collected 10 issues of HMS Victory. Based on the 10 issues that I have worked on, a managed to learn many valuable lessons along the way. One of the most important thing that I learnt was model making need a lot of PATIENCE. There is no need to rush into building them. Instead of working on one issue in one sitting, I decided to work on them slowly. If the mood is not right, or the body doesn't feel like it, I would stop and continue on an another day. No point rushing when in the end I just get frustrated when things don't go right.
I also learnt that having the right tools helps a lot. Sharp blades works wonders instead of blunt blades, especially when cutting out the parts from the frame.  My painting skills has also improved, especially during painting of the small parts.
Model making is a time consuming hobby. Lots of patience needed, but safe to say, the end results are very very very satisfying.
Here are some photos of my build so far. I still need to work on the two units of 12 pounder guns. Plan to work on them in the near future.
